Hi sweetheart!
How you doing? Moms becoming golu golu now.. and while many people say I'm not showing too much, the weighing scale begs to differ!
Today i stumbled upon some of daddy and mine old letters and I spent half my day reading them. We had a beautiful love arranged marriage. Daddy used to live in London when we were introduced and we used to spend hours on skype chatting and then daddy would write me a long email and I would wake up and read it first thing in the morning. My reply would be just as long and we were in love even before we met! Those emails we exchanged are the best gift daddy has every given me and I love reading and re reading them!
I hope these letters I write to you will someday bring a smile to your face just like all these moments have brought a smile to our face all these months. I'm now in my 7th month. In fact there is a small snippet 'd love to share with you.
I started 7th month on Satuday and went to the gurudwara with vadde dadima on Sunday. There in langar they served meethe chawal which traditionally in Sikh households is fed to the mom to be in 7th month and is considered to be auspicious. Daddy's family doesnt believe in it and while nani wants to do it, my shower is planned for 8th month as of now and she is confused whether to do it or not. I was so thrilled to see meethe chawal in the langar that I almost had tears in my eyes. Babaji has always given me what I have wanted in life and this was his way of blessing me I feel. Isnt that cool? We are very very lucky my love :*
Chalo now stop smiling and get back to work! Mummy has to go to the dentist today! Ouch...

No more chocolates!
Hi my little angel,
Did u enjoy your latest photo session?? We thoroughly did and are happy to have your first 3 D images and videos!! Daddy and me saw you at the clinic and yet couldn't wait to see the videos again when the CD came! I have a very pretty name in mind for u.. but daddy's still not agreeing on it. Let's c what happens finally!
Mummy also got her 2nd tetanus shot and some blood tests done. With gods grace all levels are fine! But doctor gave me a good firing on my weight. I've put on 8 kgs in 3 months! It's all the chocolates we've been indulging in!
Now we'll control ok?

3D scan
hi baby!
My jaan.. how u doing? It's time for your monthly photo session!! I'm at the docs clinic and planning to do a 3D scan to get a closer look at you! Very excited mummy is!
Mummy has also been sporting a pretty visible bump now and everyone I meet goes awwww.. good news ;) And then there is the usual it's a boy it's a girl debate... !! It's fun to see people guessing and make remarks either ways!
I've also been watching videos of little kids swimming and doing ballet. Pay attention ok.. it's a lot of fun! Also ignore the temple run game I play and concentrate more on the Einstein quizzes I solve... I know it's tough but it's better for us! :/

Btw what's all that kicking and juggling at night? mummy needs proper sleep no. Be thoda considerate! Not that I don't enjoy it but sometimes it wakes me up. So slow down when I'm asleep ok?

Shopping and more
Hi jaan!
Hope you are doing well! Daddy and I have come out shopping today and for a change daddy's on a spree! He's picking up clothes like there is no tomorrow! It's fun to see him like this. Maybe he thinks once you are here.. I'm not gong to bother about him and only shop for you!!
We are planning to go look for some stuff for you too! Help us make the right choice ok? Btw did u know we are revamping Niyati didi's cot for you? It's a lovely cot and fits our bedroom
perfectly. And Masi has offered you Simar didi's pram. She barely used it so it's in good condition!

Planning our shower and more

Mummy's been looking at baby clothes and planning our baby shower. This weekend daddy and me are going to check out venues and then finalise the theme. I want this shower to be something special, something people will remember for a long time! Anyway daddy's against typecasting baby's into blue and pink so we are planning a hawaiin theme! It will be a nice and colourful affair! What do you think?
I'm also trying to get a live guitarist to the event. I have a feeling you will love music.. like daddy!
I'm also looking at birth announcement messages.. I know it's too early but you know how excited we are to have you na :*
Baby centre says you can hear us. Can u? Niyati Didi keeps talking to you... in fact she has stopped looking at my face she just looks at my tummy while talking! It's hilarious!
Btw we did a small shoot with you our lil bump in Sri Lanka. Will show u the pics when u grow up. I'm sure you'll love them. I'm dressed in a Greek style white long dress and am posing by the trincomalee beach. What fun it was!

Today was a very special day. We met a doc in Sri Lanka and he told us you are a little princess! Healthy and active.. mummy's little princess! I can't stop thinking about you.. which school will I send u to, what kind of hair you will have, what will I name you, I'm going crazy!
I love u sweetheart! I can't wait to meet you.. but am happy to know u r doing well and are fit and fine!
Daddy and me went shopping and bought your first dress as well. You'll have to wait till u can wear it but it's your first dress (yayyy) and I'm glad I now have someone my own I can hand down my Loius Vuitton and diamonds to! :P

I can feel your moments more so often now and that makes me believe you are enjoying the holiday! Arent you?
You know jaan me and daddy love you and this vacation has been great for us to catch up with each other.. discuss you.. and simply relax and indulge in things we like. We've eaten a lot of good food, stayed at the best hotels and lived laughed loved! It's been one of our more enjoyable holidays and we are now looking forward to travel with you in the future. We've been taking notes from other travelers who are with kids, mentally noting dos and donts and even discussing what we will and won't do. Isn't that sweet?
As for you.. I was reading that because my body is relaxed I can feel your movements more often and clearer. Daddy still has a doubt that I'm making this up or hallucinating or something but I know it's you. My heart says so. :*

Upbringing puzzles
Hi jaan!
How u doing? We are now at the domestic airport of Colombo waiting to board our flight to paradise beach Trincomalee on the East coast! And here there are some foreigners and their kids who are running around while the parents are least concerned. Eventually the kids come back to the parents and give them a hug. I think that's a good style of parenting that you let your kids be and they become responsible on their own. The problem with doing that in India is that elders think you are being irresponsible and many times you are treated to disgusted looks. Here people don't let their kids be! I can even imagine family members finding it embarrassing if children make noise. It's a common sight to run behind your child as he or she explores the new place it is in.. continuously giving instructions like don't touch that it's dirty and don't do that you will get hurt. Too much fear in our upbringing.
While I can't promise to be like the cool foreigners I do promise to make my best effort to allow you to grow in your own space and explore the world with your own senses and not mine.
All this brings out such questions on what style of parenting I would like to give you! It's complicated for sure!

Crepes and more
Hello baby!!
How u doing? Enjoying Sri Lanka? I can see you are being pampered a lot! So much yummy yummy food and desserts. Wasn't the banana crepe we had in Galle outstanding? It's been my favourite so far! Right now we are architect Geoffrey Bawa's country home now operated as a 7 suite hotel. It's very peaceful and calm out here and there are acres of gardens around the property. At Galle we were staying in a villa with a private pool and I couldn't stop imagining how much you'd love the pool and would never want to come out! such a darling u r going to be :*

Time to pack
Hi my mushy mushy,
How are you doing? Are you ready for your holiday? Mommy isnt :P No packing done yet! And we are off to meet nana nani at night! Nani is cooking moms favourite Khowsey. She is an incredible cook by the way. I'm sure she'll make you some really delish food once you have your teeth and can chew!
We also met your doc today and he was stunned to see that mummy put on 2 kgs in 15 days! He asked me to control it :P But you dont worry, we'll eat a lot of food in Sri Lanka! Chutti hai bhai! Weight jaaye khadde mein! hahaha
But you take care of your health ok jaan. I'll try to do my best, but you also, be comfortable and enjoy the journey and the new place, new people, new sounds, new food. Any problem you give me a hint!
Btw Dadaji and dadima are back.. you might have guessed since I've been eating thoda healthy food since two days :P Hope you enjoy it! They got lotsa gifts for everyone and of course multiple stories!
I'm thinking what gift should I get for you from Sri Lanka.. Your first holiday abroad!

Daddy's bday party
Hi little one!
How are you doing? Did u enjoy daddy's surprise birthday party yesterday? I know it must have been little hectic for you since mummy had to run around but you know all those 35 ppl who came love u a lot na?
So much halla we did and daddy was not just surprised.. totally shocked! Don't worry we'll rest today so you regain your energy and zest :*
Mummy also bought daddy a new phone .. I think he's happy... he's constantly trying to make me happy and I'm sure he'll do the same for you, so I try my best to do little things for him that bring a smile to his face :*
When you grow up you can take over the responsibility of making Daddy's bdays special.. mummy needs retirement already!
By the way, today is also Father's Day. and on this day the only thing I wish and pray is that you and daddy bond really well and you learn from daddy to be a loving, honest and hardworking person just like he is. I want you to have a heart of gold just like him and treat me like a princess just like he does! :P ok.. That last part I have a feeling you will for sure do, but do concentrate on the rest too ok!

Tummy top

Howz my lil baby doing in my tummy? Or should I say howz the bun in the oven? :D :D
It's been a while since I wrote to you but I've been nursing a cold and cough and also planning daddy's surprise bday party. Dadaji and dadima are out of town and we are bringing the house down! (don't read this until you are 18)
Mummy's also planning to bake a cake for daddy to take to office! Hope I'm able to pull this all coz mummy's certainly not used to handling things by herself! You support mommy ok?
Btw looks like you are growing quickly quickly! Mummy's tummy is now visible and she gets stares from some and questions from many. It's fun! I also attended a wedding and you got a lot of good wishes :*
I randomly also think of stuff like today I was thinking of what kind of diaper bag I would like to carry and spend a good one hour researching on diaper bags! And I'm no where yet! Funny phase of life this is and I'm loving it :*

Motherhood kicking in
Hi lil one,
I was just reading some posts on babycentre and was full of tears. You know motherhood is lovely and I can already feel it even though I haven't even seen you or felt you in real. I already care so much for u and can give my life for you. It's strange na? It now makes me think of my mom who would have felt the same way when I was in her tummy and all her life for the matter.
This makes me understand the true meaning of being a mother and I feel very fortunate that you have chosen me to be your mom. I really hope I'm able to give you the best in life.
It's wonderful to even imagine you moving your limbs or playing or smiling or hikkuping or even sleeping inside my tummy.
Oh btw it's your next scan tmrw :)

How you doing? Looks like you're growing bigger. At lease my weighing scale says so! Mummy is loving her fitness class and is super excited to be a yummy mummy! Please cooperate ok? Its for the good of both of us!
Mummy is also reading this funny and interestingly different book on pregnancy called I'm Pregnant not terminally Ill you idiot! Hahaha such a name, and you can imagine the book is full of humour and is by this journalist who shares her expereinces and encounters at work when pregnant, and post delivery. Not all are pretty, but then you and I know that already dont we? Btw I havent got my baby glow yet, can you please send it quickly, I have to attend a wedding next week! :P
Also, I have been indulging a bit with food now, so you can enjoy. Happy in my tummy are you?
And in between all this, I have become super absent minded! Pregnancy absent-ism they call it. I think its just lack of interest in anything but you! :*

Date night
Hi Love,
Last couple of days have been so wonderful and busy thus I havent has a chance to write to you. I'm sorry about that but you know, I remember you and tummy talk to you all the time! In fact lately daddy too has been tummy talking. Can you hear him? He mind talks more than tummy talk, but chalo, atleast there is some improvement!
In fact last weekend we went on a date night and talked and talked and talked. It was such a dreamy night, lovely Italian food (you seemed to have liked the food too! Romanos was the name of the restaurant), great conversations (we couldn't stop arguing about who is more lucky to have the other - I still think daddy is way luckier to have found me, but he thinks otherwise! Such narcissist parents u have!) and much more which you shouldn't know!
Then as if luck was shining bright on me, daddy took me for a movie on Monday! You know how rare weekday night outs are for us, but I guess US having a holiday means sun is shining bright in my life!

Last couple of days have been so wonderful and busy thus I havent has a chance to write to you. I'm sorry about that but you know, I remember you and tummy talk to you all the time! In fact lately daddy too has been tummy talking. Can you hear him? He mind talks more than tummy talk, but chalo, atleast there is some improvement!
In fact last weekend we went on a date night and talked and talked and talked. It was such a dreamy night, lovely Italian food (you seemed to have liked the food too! Romanos was the name of the restaurant), great conversations (we couldn't stop arguing about who is more lucky to have the other - I still think daddy is way luckier to have found me, but he thinks otherwise! Such narcissist parents u have!) and much more which you shouldn't know!
Then as if luck was shining bright on me, daddy took me for a movie on Monday! You know how rare weekday night outs are for us, but I guess US having a holiday means sun is shining bright in my life!

Can you hear me?
Hi my lil brat! I love you soooooo much!!
Mommy has been struggling with a lil neck pain recently, but thats down to taking daddy to buy me a new pillow. In the meanwhile, there are several instances in the day when I keep wondering what you are up to.
Now that you are 15 weeks completed, they say you can hear sounds. Do you hear me? I even tried introducing you to our mool mantar, Ek omkar and even did a bit of simran for you. Its relaxing they say. I even have these chintu chats with you sometimes. So if you hear some mad women speaking gibbrish, you know its me! And they are a secret, ok?
Coming weekend I have to attend another baby shower. You have no idea but you are going to be born amongst a bunch of older bullies!
We are also trying to finalise the details of our Sri Lanka trip. Nanaji's friend in Sri Lanka is helping out with the planning and bua who has studied there is as excited as me about us going there!
I havent started shopping yet for as they say maternity clothes. But then I havent even put on weight yet. I'm guessing thats ok, but you better grow as needed and stay healthy ok. Do you get that big mug of milk I have every morning?
Chalo I have to get back to work, but you stay happy and healthy!

Travel friendly baby
Hi lil munchkin,
Did you enjoy Ranvir bhaiya's bday party yesterday? He was the apple of my eye when he was born, and probably the only child I loved unconditionally before you came into my life! I really hope you guys bond and well. Simar didi was trying to touch my tummy and feel you. We know you are really tiny but patience nahi hai na ab! We just imagine how it will be to feel you and to able to talk to you. Listen carefully ok?
For our babymoon we have shortlisted a 10 days trip to Sri Lanka. You will be well taken care of there with proper food and we can relax in the luxury of some Geoffry Bawa Hotels. Bawa is one of the worlds most renowned architects and your bhua's favourite architect from Sri Lanka. His work is indeed worth expereincing.
I want you to experience and learn so much through your travels in life. I hope you enjoy traveling and exploring places as much as me and daddy do. I'm going to try and do my best to show you the world and learn about life, history, culture, and everything through experience.

First movie
Hi my Jaan,
How are you today? Mummy finally told her office colleagues about you and while its still a hush hush its a relief that some people know! My boss was kind enough to offer a flexible work timing too. I hope it all works out in our favour!
Its very hot here and sometimes even air conditioning isnt enough. I was thinking, I like the fact that you are coming into this world in October/November. They are good months. Atleast my maternity leave will be pleasant since it will be winters here!
Everyone I tell you are due in November says you shall be a scorpio baby! Your star sign that is. I have no idea how scorpians are but I'm sure you are going to be one deadly child!
Btw this weekend you went for your first movie. How did you like it? It was not my kinda movie - Avengers - with lotsa fighting and robots and we watched it at Imax dome so the 3-d was even more dramatic! I think you will like it if you are a boy. If you are a girl then we'll watch chic flicks together!
We have zeroed down on Fraiser for our go to before bed TV series. Its funny, doesnt demand too much attention and does no harm to you.
I do get some nightmares these days, but mostly they are not related to you. I wish they would stop though.
Every year we go for the IPL cricket matches as well, but this year I refused to get into the crowded cricket stadium. For your good baby :*

Fruit chaat
Hi kiddu!
How are u doing? Looks like you didn't like mummy's old friends and pics. I've been constipated and gassy since then!!
Pregnancy isn't easy I realize and it isn't all pretty with the baby glow and all that.. but yet it's lovely to know that I'm creating something as beautiful as you!
Yesterday while I was at nani house I sneaked out to meet Nidhi aunty and her baby Yug. He's quite and adorable kid and very comfortable with people around. Haven't heard him cry yet. If you are a boy u both are going to be real buddies and if you are a girl he's going to line maro on u.. Nidhi has already warned me :/
Today daddy made us some lovely fruit chat since I wasn't feeling like having sweet and yet wanted something healthy. It was really yummy and daddy did take a lot of effort to make it. I know I've said this before but daddy is an absolute darling and I'm sure he'll make a very very good daddy! He might not show it on the outside but within he is the more caring and genuine person I have known!
As people discuss parenting styles I sometimes wonder what my style is going to be. I'm definitely going to be strict but I will also be a lil indulgent. Let's c how it works on u!

Doctors visit and daddy cool
So my little baby met the doc on Tuesday. He answered all my queries very patiently and very smartly shot down our idea of going to Spain for the babymoon. Can you believe it, after all that planning he says, nah I dont think its a good idea. And you know mummy na, she cant go or take any risk with you. So the plan is chopped! Though dadaji veetoed the doctor's opinion and said, "nothing happens, just go if that makes you happy", which itself made me happy, I'm being conservative and have decided not to go.
So now I'm looking at other options which incluses Mauritius and Dubai or Sri Lanka. I've left Maldives for when we take you out on a holiday. Its the kind of place I think you will like! You are going to be a water baby like mummy na?

I even shared the pic with you US masi Aditi. She too is very very excited about it and couldnt stop asking questions in her usual way!
So much happening, and so fast!
Trimester no 2 has begun and I'm already feeling good.

long weekend
Hi little one,
Mummy is just recovering from a long weekend we just had. We had gone to a nearby resort in Pawna and had a relaxing time, only to come back to Mumbai and attend social functions! Last evening we attended a baby shower and all I could think of was how would I like my baby shower to be.
But chodo yeh sab, you tell me, how was your first holiday? Did you get too exhausted with the drive? Daddy drove very slowly but you know Indian roads na... cant avoid bumps. But remember mummy was always holding you.. all through the journey. And did you feel well fed. Now holidays demand some unhealthy eating, but I did try to feed you as healthy as I could. And to make up for all the maida I have had over the weekend (all those buns and breads and pizzas and pastas!), I have decided that I wont have any maida all of this week. Ok?
In life its very important to enjoy, but at the same time, balance is necessary.

Kurkure outburst
Hi Marshmellow,
I told you Niyati didi is very excited to be an elder sister to you and today she let the chicken out of the cage and told her Kinjal chachi that "she cant have a pet since her Mami ie me am going to get a baby in 6 months." Kinjal chachi couldnt believe her ears and called me. Her excitement was unbelievably overwhelming and when she found out that our doc is the same as hers and her son Kavan's, she was all the more thrilled.
What followed was bua sending a hand drawn graphic to the Kurkure family announcing that she is going to be a bua and Milind fufu a fua. Now if you remember I've told you about the Kurkure family, a bunch of adorable gujjus who are filled with warmth and love. And today all that warmth three folds was showered on you and me and I felt so special to be able to give so much happiness to so many people.
I got offered to get on demand Gujarati specialties to eat and lots of company for my walks and of course lots of advice on eating healthy and staying happy. I cant wait to see all the Kurkure kids interacting with a tiny new member in the house. And mind you, Niyati has already made rules for visitation!
Sachi jaan, its so lovely to bring you into this world. I feel so powerful, yet so responsible. Its magical, thats all I can say.

How are you? How did you find our little rendezvous at the sonography clinic today? I was so thrilled to see you, your little hands, legs, brain, kidney, spinal cord and that heart of your pumping made me skip a heartbeat! Daddy was there with me today and I could see he was thrilled! I have been wondering how miraculous all this is and my faith in God has just increased by many folds! I was so
emotional at that time I can't tell u!
God is making you to be a beautiful little child already! I can't thank him enough for giving you all this attention and I promise I will make his creation worthy of the life he has given you. Darling I don't know how my upbringing towards you will be, but always remember there is a God and you must be thankful to him for all that he has given you. You and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him. He is a miracle!
Now you also looked pretty excited in the sonography.. dancing around.. playing with your limbs. My active little sweetheart!

goodbye sickness

It is Dadaji and dadima's wedding anniversary on May 1st and we took them out shopping yesterday! It was a nice family day and I couldn't stop imagining how it will be when we all hang out together!

Hi darling,
How r u doing? The weekend is finally here! I know you don't understand the value of a Friday yet but I assure you a few years down the line you'll be screaming thank god it's Friday coz you'll not have school the next day and then a couple more years and then TGIF! no office tomorrow!
I get so many different advices, point of views and what not from people who have opinions about working mothers, people who have opinions about stay at home mothers and people who are simply unnecessarily opinionated! I don't know what I think about all this but I can assure you whatever I decide to do after you are born will always be in your best interest. Mommy loves you like crazy!
Btw I had a party pack full of potato wafflers today! Very very bad of me I know! Please ignore it and just take the nutrition from the banana milkshake I had after that! Sometimes you have to adjust with mummy's habits na! We'll take care of each other's bad habits when we are together ok?

Ajwain ka paratha
Hi my lil jaaneman!
Mummy's at work and still her mind just keeps drifting to you. I was chatting with Kamiya aunty and she was talking about swimming with her daughter Ziana and I couldnt stop visualizing me swimming with you. How beautiful that would be! I'm waiting to swim with you, cycle with you, run in the park with you and most importantly hug you and sleep! Mummy loves that, you know na!
Also bakra masi insists that she is called Pooja Masi. Now, you yourself grow up and decide how you would like to address her.
Today for lunch dadima made me this awesome ajwain ka paratha and I see you enjoyed it too! Isnt she a darling to take such good care of you and me? I'm so glad they are back!

Peace, no please
Hi lil munchkin,
How are you doing? Dadaji & dadima are back from Chandigarh and mummy is so happy! The house feels so full and cheerful again! Mummy doesn't like peace and quiet clearly! Though I'm not sure I'll ever get that once you are here!
How are you feeling? Getting better nutrition now? Mummy's focusing a lot of fruits. Hope you like them!
Yesterday we had to go for a bday party with bhuaji's full Kurkure family (a bunch of very warm gujjus who I'm sure will shower you with a lot of love) and mummy was worried that their keen eye will spot u in the layers of my tummy. So I wore this really lose kinda top which is so not my style! Funny dodging people's queries about why I was so unusually dressed! They'll know soon and won't mind one but I'm sure :)

How are you doing? Dadaji & dadima are back from Chandigarh and mummy is so happy! The house feels so full and cheerful again! Mummy doesn't like peace and quiet clearly! Though I'm not sure I'll ever get that once you are here!
How are you feeling? Getting better nutrition now? Mummy's focusing a lot of fruits. Hope you like them!
Yesterday we had to go for a bday party with bhuaji's full Kurkure family (a bunch of very warm gujjus who I'm sure will shower you with a lot of love) and mummy was worried that their keen eye will spot u in the layers of my tummy. So I wore this really lose kinda top which is so not my style! Funny dodging people's queries about why I was so unusually dressed! They'll know soon and won't mind one but I'm sure :)

Dadaji and Dadima are returning from Chandigarh tomorrow and we are having our last house party of the season tonight! A pizza and taboo party!
Lately mummy has been dabbling a bit with cooking! You know that cooking has never been mummy's cup of tea but recently I keep looking at recipes and making them! Smple stuff ofcourse and more simple and fancy cooking. Last two days I have experimented with pizzas, stuffed mushrooms, egg fried rice and today Alu and peas tikki! Sounds yummy na? Your fufaji thinks it's a side effect of pregnancy and daddy is thrilled to see me finally take interest. I like how you get the credit for everything I do nowadays! My little munchkin!
Chalo I gotta go shape the tikkis!

First rain
Hi little one!

Blurry weekend
Hi Munchkin,
How you doing? I feel I'm ignoring you a bit, not eating enough fruit and liquid but I know you are still growing well. My love is there na for you. Ya ya, eating the fruits too!
I'm facing such Monday blues today, I cant tell you. The good thing is, its Baisaikhi tomorrow and I'm celebrating your first Baisakhi by taking a chutti and goin to nani house again! Lots of more mangoes coming up!
The weekend was such a blur thanks to the anti nausea tablets I took. I ditched them last night coz they made me too too sleepy! I'd rather be awake and experience everything than sleep through it. You also need to be active na?
I know my walks have also stopped since Dadima isnt here, but you dont worry, she'll be back this weekend and we'll be up and about again!
In the meanwhile a lot of people are finding out about you, courtesy my flat aunty like chappals! I shopped some bit last time I was at Nani house and tomorrow there is going to be some more shopping!
O by the way, did I ever tell you daddy and me had bought your first wardrobe item back in London last year? It was from the London dungeon shop and read I'm a lil horror!! Hahaha
Your dads really sweet. He's been handling all my tantrums since dada dadi have gone and is even helping me take care of the house. You are going to be in a very very happy place!

Mango Milkshake

bakra masi and more
Hi lil jellybean!
Apparently thats the most common nickname for an unborn child. Do you like it?
Your april fool masi Pooja has been nicknamed bakra masi! She is the sweetest and she still has difficulty believing me!
In the meanwhile, some more friends found out about me at the kitty yesterday and I got titled the cool pregnant women coz I havent missed a single kitty inspite of it! Appy aunty toh couldnt believe it only! She went all out and conveniently even announced to many in the kitty that Sumisha is toh not planning only now! Vini aunty had to actually tell her that its true and it still took her some time to believe! Some of moms friends are really crazy and I can assure you, you're going to have a hell lot of fun with them!
In the meanwhile mommy's sickness is getting better but tiredness is still there. I am guessing now that week no 10 is about to get completed, its just going to get better!
Yesterday mom had back to back meetings and then the kitty so in the process couldn't have lunch. Hope it didn't trouble you too much. I promise to be more careful next time my sweetiepie!
Also mom's sole is hurting. She isn't used to wearing flats. And I was reading online wearing small heels is actually fine. I might wear small heels sometime, hope thats ok with you. You know you can always tell me if thats a problem and mommy will throw away the heels right away :)

Catch up
Hi my little munchkin,
Mommy has been ignoring you too much lately? Bad bad mommy! I promise I will write to you more regularly now. Its just that I get so exhausted! I keep telling daddy that you are going to be very very naughty, already sucking all my energy!
I have lost a kg of weight, guess its because of the morning sickness. But I hope you are getting all the nutrition you need to be grow nice and healthy!
This weekend Masi and Ranvir and Simar had some to stay at our place and such a handful they are. Full time need attention and their cute little chubby faces cannot just be ignored. Once you are here they will have someone to play with and me and daddy can take a back seat. You will host them well na?
Mommy and daddy are planning their babymoon to Spain. Ofcourse we'll have to get permission from the Doc but first is you. You will be ok na? Its a long flight but we'll do a break journey. It will be a really nice place for you to explore. Send me sign if its not ok, ok?

April fools day!

Today is April 1st and mummy has a reputation of making nasty fools and Pooja and Natasha aunty have faced the brunt too deep to believe me anymore. So this year I decided to have some fun by telling them the truth about you on this special April fools day and what fun it was!
Pooja just wouldn't listen to me and Natasha just wouldn't believe me. Pooja went to the extent of going on Facebook and warning everyone about me. All day she has been talking to me and abusing me for playing such a prank on her. She wants to beleive it but isnt able to! Its hilarious!
Both of them till now believe that I was trying to make an April fool out of them while the jokes on them.. it's the most beautiful truth of my life! Such a hilarious day I had!

When mommy takes an off from work
Hey little one,
Looks like last time I got drifted away. Mommy has a few distractions but trust me the biggest and the best one is yet to come!
I had lovely weekend and decided to extend it so bunked work today. Sometimes mommy also needs to kick it back and put her feet up. Just that it doesn't always happen!
Your vadde dadima actually suggested a few days back that I take a day off and spend some time at home and I thought today would be a good day and while it's not easy for mommy to do this, I thought it would be nice to make her happy. Plus dadima also got some relief from routine house work.
And mommy got to sleep a lot!! You lil brat have made me so so lazy!!
Tomorrow we have an appointment with your doctor and I'm super excited. I can't wait to hear him say all is well. Though I know he's going to prescribe a bunch of tests and I'll have to get another prick to remove blood.. but it's all for the thrill of knowing if you are getting the best!
Also it's going to be my first encounter with a male gynac. Now I wonder how that's going to be. I need some prep!

Hiii munchkin!!
You are exactly 8 weeks old today!! Apparently your limbs are being formed like wings and you are soon going to start showing. I'm trying to eat as much healthy as I can but sometimes food turns me off! And then I think it's all for you and eat anther morsel.
Also I have sweet tooth but don't want you to have one especially if you are a girl. So please ignore the chocolates I eat ok?
The night before yesterday daddy got done a little early from work so after a long time we chatted.. and chatted and chatted! You must already know I love that! He's a little cautious about setting his expectations on you I think.. he's normally just blank when I ask him what he wants. But he's a sweetheart! I'm sure you'll love him a lot.. though I have a feeling you might give him more bhaav since his availability will be more limited!
Kamiya aunty found out about you inspite of my several efforts to hide it from her. While it's scary since I haven't told anyone else except Shweta aunty, I'm kinda glad coz I can now directly have her resolve all my queries since her daughter Ziana is just 2 years and she has many experiences to share!
