Hello little one! How are you doing. I subscribed to Baby Centre and they tell me that you are as little as a kidney bean and are now developing eyes and lips. I say.. already!
You have been making me sick but it also means all is well. I dont mind it as far as I know you are fine! I met a new doctor yesterday and I think he's the one who is going to bring you in this world. He didnt talk much but I have heard so much about him and his expereince that I am pretty sure he will be good to you and me.
I met your masi the day before and she is thrilled. Recalling her time with your cousins Simar and Ranvir. She gave me a list of instructions besides my favourite DairyMilk Crackle which disappeared from sight in minutes as me and dad sat in our usual routine to watch sitcoms. We were almost reaching the last season of Dexter but since our doc said no horror, we have now started watching New Girl.
The news of you coming is spreading in Punjab. From Chandigarh to Patiala, many people are being told and then told not to tell anyone! Your Grandparents are very excited and I am so happy that you will be welcomed very warmly into this world.
I've been in a dilemma whether I'd like you to come into this world in a hospital or a nursing home. I want the warmth and homliness of a nursing home and the facilities of a hospital! So far I havent found a middle ground, so I'm just going for the best doctor for you. Your progress will decide your welcome address!
Take care of yourself and stay healthy! Remember there are too many people in this world who love you already! Big Kiss you little kidney bean!

Day 2
You little brat, you've already started troubling me! This morning sickness is killing me and the smell of ghee and oil makes me feel pukish. But when I think of your heartbest I heard yesterday in the Sonography it all becomes OK. Love you Baby.
So yesterday was the day of unveiling it all. You bhua was the most excited, reminiscing her days with your cousin Niyati. Dadaji has vowed to listen to everything I say and in that context he agreed to join me and your dad to surprise your Nanu and Nani. We all landed at their place at 11pm and surprised them with a cake and champagne with a card reading:
Coming Soon.
Baby Gilotra.
Nani was stumped. It took them some time to digest and they were out of words. She is upset with me for not giving her a hint and I have to call her now, but I thought a little chat with you wont do much harm.
Chalo, you take care of your health. And remember you are always on my mind.

Day 1
Dear Grandma and grandpa,
Just wanted you to know that I am on my
way.
Love, Baby Giotra
This is how I has planned to tell your
Dadaji and dadima about you. But as always in life, things never happen the way
you plan them. We broke the news, rather awkwardly on the breakfast table and
while I’m pretty sure each one of them were super happy, all they showed was
relief. More like, thank God we didn’t have to pester our kids to plan a child
before they got to old. Your Dadaji for the record is the nicest person I have
ever known. Actually second to your dad. But Dadaji expresses his niceness. So
after it all sunk in, and the word Junior Gilotra was flown around, the
excitement became more evident. Dadaji promised to listen to everything I said and assured me from now on, its no stress only pampering for me!
But the sickness that came with the news. OMG! You little brat, it started with wommits, followed by nausea and the anxiety. I decided to not tell your nana nani until the blood report was out. I knew they would be very very excited and while I was pretty sure the test was right considering all the sickness, I didn’t want to take a chance for Nanima is super hyper. She expresses each and every feeling with an added degree of excitement.
So for now, its a mixed feeling of
happiness and anxiety. Its tough to keep it from people around you and its just
the first day! Hopefully it will get better. You be good ok?
Love you already!
